The actual character should be the last thing players use the Obelisk to transfer in Ark: Survival Evolved. Next, players can command any creatures following them to stand at the center of the Obelisk, then transfer them as well. Instead, players need to transfer their inventory to the Obelisk first. However, any gear or items the player is carrying will be lost, and their tamed creatures will not be transferred.
